Steve prides himself in being not a salesman but a trusted financial adviser determined to find the best deal on the market to meet his client’s needs. Steve is a native Texan born in Dallas in June of 1981. He grew up in various suburbs across Dallas before graduating from Berkner high school in Richardson in 1999. Not straying too far from his DFW roots, Steve is an alumnus of the University of North Texas where he was very active in philanthropy, Greek life, and Mean Green athletics. He began learning the mortgage business with Countrywide in 2005–quickly becoming a top producer! In 2007, Steve was promoted to a position as senior loan officer and trainer of new hires with a branch of Supreme Lending before accepting a sales manager position with NovaStar. Steve was not immune from the looming financial collapse which left millions of people across the country unemployed. He spent the next four years helping his brother start a successful logistics company before joining Global Home Finance in April of 2012. In addition to serving his established client and business relationships as a Residential Mortgage Loan Originator, Steve also serves as the Senior Compliance Officer with responsibility for ensuring that Global Home Finance Inc. complies with all federal and state regulations and lending laws impacting the mortgage lending business.
