Marquez Valdes-Scantling - Catches one pass in NOLA debut Valdes-Scantling hauled in his only target for five yards during Sunday's 23-22 loss versus the Panthers.
Impact Valdes-Scantling had a quiet start to his Saints tenure, as he saw his lone target midway through the third quarter. The 30-year-old played 41 percent of offensive snaps, which trailed only Mason Tipton (76) and Cedrick Wilson (47). Meanwhile, WR1 Chris Olave was forced out with a concussion in the first quarter. If Olave ends up missing time moving forward, then Tipton, Wilson and Valdes-Scantling could all see increased targets. However they'll still have to contend with running back Alvin Kamara and tight end Taysom Hill, as these two led the team in targets Week 9 with nine and five, respectively. The Saints' next game will come versus the Falcons on Sunday, Nov. 10.

Cedrick Wilson Jr. - Deals with injury again Week 9 Wilson reeled in two of three targets for 34 yards during Sunday's 23-22 loss versus Carolina.
Impact Wilson briefly exited with a shoulder injury during the second quarter but was able to return before the end of the first half. The 28-year-old ended up playing just under half of the Saints' offensive snaps, and he tied with Mason Tipton for the most targets of any of the team's wideouts. Neither receiver played a significantly role even though WR1 Chris Olave was forced out with a concussion in the first quarter. Instead, running back Alvin Kamara and versatile tight end Taysom Hill led the team in targets with nine and five, respectively. Wilson logged a season-high seven targets when Olave was sidlined for the Week 7 loss to Denver. Wilson should serve as one of the primary wideouts alongside Tipton if Olave ends up missing next Sunday's game versus the Falcons.

Mason Tipton - Held catchless Week 9 Tipton hauled in zero of three targets during Sunday's 23-22 loss against Carolina.
Impact Tipton played over 75 percent of offensive snaps for the third game in a row, and he was the only Saints wideout to play over 50 percent of these snaps. But, he still logged a paltry three targets despite an early exit for Saints' No. 1 wideout Chris Olave, who sustained a concussion in the first quarter. Instead, running back Alvin Kamara and do-it-all tight end Taysom Hill led the team in targets with nine and five, respectively. Tipton tallied a season-high nine targets when Olave was ruled out ahead of the Week 7 loss to Denver. It stands to reason that Tipton could be featured more if Olave is once again ruled out ahead of next Sunday's game versus the Falcons.

Jordan Mims - Tallies five carries Week 9 Mims tallied five rushes for 13 yards and hauled in his only target for 25 yards during Sunday's 23-22 defeat against the Panthers.
Impact Mims stepped up to serve as the Saints' RB2 with veteran Jamaal Williams (groined) sidlined Week 9. The second-year back still had to contend for carries behind starter Alvin Kamara, as do-it-all tight end Tyasom Hill also tallied five rushing attempts for 19 yards and a touchdown. Meanwhile, Kamara handled a full bell-cow workload with 29 carries and six receptions out of the backfield. With Kendre Miller (hamstring) on IR, Mims could continue to serve as RB2 if Williams remains sidelined for next Sunday's game versus Atlanta, though his workload will likely be limited once again.

Carl Granderson - Records half-sack in Week 9 loss Granderson posted four tackles (three solo), including a half-sack, in Sunday's loss to Carolina.
Impact The Saints managed just one sack in the contest, which Granderson split with Nathan Shepherd. Granderson managed 3.0 sacks over the first three games of the season, but this was his first sack since. The veteran defensive lineman has totaled 34 tackles (21 solo) over nine games on the campaign.

Pete Werner - Tallies eight tackles Week 9 Werner racked up eight tackles, including one for a loss, in Sunday's defeat against the Panthers.
Impact Werner paced New Orleans in stops and tied his second-highest total of the season. The fourth-year pro missed Weeks 5-7 due to a hamstring injury but has racked up 17 total tackles in two games since his return. Werner has totaled 38 stops (25 solo) across six contests on the campaign.

Impact Moreau caught his third touchdown of the season when he hauled in a 17-yard pass from quarterback Derek Carr early in the fourth quarter. He still split playing time and targets with fellow tight end Juwan Johnson, who was targeted on the ensuring two-point conversion following Moreau's touchdown. Moreau has now totaled 12 catches across nine games this season. He'll look to get back into the end zone during this coming Sunday's home game against Atlanta.

Blake Grupe - Nails all three field goals Week 9 Grupe connected on 3 of 3 field goal attempts and his only extra-point try during Sunday's 23-22 defeat against Carolina.
Impact Grupe bounced back after missing a field-goal attempt for the first time this season during last week's loss to the Chargers. The second-year kicker hit field goals of 29 and 33 yards in the first quarter before hitting a 51-yarder in the third quarter. This final try was also his first field-goal attempt of 50-plus yards since Week 1 versus Carolina. Grupe has now gone 16-for-17 on field-goal tries and he's made all but two PATs this season. He'll look to be perfect one again during this coming Sunday's home game versus Atlanta.
