Impact The rookie from Mississippi State missed the Panthers' first nine games this season after sustaining an ankle injury in early August, but he's now in line to make his NFL debut Sunday. Expect Crumedy to serve as one of Carolina's top rotational interior defensive lineman when the Panthers face the Giants in Germany in Week 10.

Impact Johnson was held out of Carolina's Week 9 win over the Saints due to an ankle issue. However, it now appears the 2023 third-round pick from Oregon has moved past the issue. Expect Johnson to serve as one of the Panthers' top rotational outside linebackers once again in Week 10, when the team travels to Germany to face the Giants.

Jonathon Brooks - Will be activated Wednesday Coach Dave Canales said Brooks (knee) will be activated from the reserve/non-football injury list Wednesday, but he isn't certain whether or not the running back will play Sunday a...
Impact Stretching back to last week, Brooks now has been listed as a full participant on four consecutive injury reports, but the Panthers continue to take a cautious approach with the rookie second-round pick as he gets back to full health from the torn ACL that he suffered in his right knee last Nov. 12. If Brooks doesn't make his pro debut Sunday, Chuba Hubbard will lead Carolina's backfield, while the team uses their Week 11 bye to get the former ready for its next game Sunday, Nov. 24 versus the Chiefs.

Tommy Tremble - Full practice participant Tremble (back) was a full practice participant Wednesday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Impact Tremble missed three of the past four games with a concussion and then back injury, including a 23-22 win over the Saints this past Sunday. He hasn't seen many targets this year, but his availability has been a major factor in rookie Ja'Tavion Sanders' playing time (or lack thereof). The Panthers may start to give Sanders more snaps even when Tremble is healthy, after the rookie caught four of five targets for a career-high 87 yards in the win over New Orleans. In any case, Tremble is set to return this Sunday against the Giants in Munich.

Adam Thielen - Not practicing Thielen (hamstring) didn't practice Wednesday, Mike Kaye of The Charlotte Observer reports.
Impact The Panthers haven't said anything about a setback, but it's possible that's what happened, in light of Thielen missing practice Friday and now Wednesday (after being a limited participant for the first two sessions last week). He's been practicing since Oct. 23 and will need to be activated from injured reserve next week even if he's not ready to play, unless the Panthers want him ruled out for the rest of the season. The absence from practice Wednesday suggests Thielen doesn't have great odds to play this Sunday against the Giants in Munich.

Bryce Young - Named as Week 10 starter Young will start Sunday's game against the Giants in Munich, but Panthers coach Dave Canales isn't committing to anything beyond Week 10, Steve Reed of the Associated Press reports...
Impact In other words, it'll still be a week-to-week situation, with Young perpetually a bad game or two away from handing things back over to Andy Dalton. The 23-year-old will make his third consecutive start this Sunday, after pulling off a 23-22 win over the Saints in Week 9 to improve his career record as a starter to 3-17.

Impact Brooks was a full practice participant throughout last week and ultimately held out of a 23-22 win over the Saints, with coach Dave Canales suggesting the rookie likely would make his NFL debut this coming Sunday against the Giants in Munich, per David Newton of ESPN.com. Regardless of how that plays out, the Panthers will need to move Brooks from the non-football injury list to the active roster this week unless they want to hold him out for the entire season.

Bryce Young - Likely getting another start Young appears likely to start this Sunday against the Giants in Munich, David Newton of ESPN.com reports.
Impact The Panthers haven't yet named a starter, with GM Dan Morgan deferring Wednesday to coach Dave Canales, but Newton suggests that "everything points toward Young starting his third straight game." Last year's No. 1 overall pick earned his third career win this past Sunday, albeit with a modest passing line (16-of-26 for 171 yards, one TD and one INT) in a 23-22 victory over the injury-riddled Saints. Andy Dalton was active for the contest as a backup, after missing the prior game due to a thumb sprain suffered in a car accident.

Impact Harris was the only Panther to bring down Derek Carr in Sunday's win, and he now leads Carolina's defense with 3.0 sacks on the season. The veteran edge rusher has also tallied 20 total tackles through the Panthers' first nine games and is expected to continue starting opposite Jadeveon Clowney as the Carolina faces the Giants in Germany on Sunday.

Impact The undrafted rookie from Texas A&M has really impressed in his first two starts in the NFL, racking up 23 total tackles and one pass defended. He played every defensive snap for Carolina in Week 9 after being on the field for all but one in Week 8, suggesting he may have secured the team's top strong safety position. While Nick Scott (hamstring) and Jordan Fuller (hamstring) have been sidelined these past two weeks, it'll be tough for Carolina to bench Richardson after his recent performances.
